Steve and staff have been a pleasure to deal with. As a charity, we have to ensure that our IT systems are looked after cost effectively, which has often meant that we have had to sacrifice a level of service. With Fresh Stance IT we’ve had top level service at an affordable price.

Having had fairly negative experiences with three previous IT providers, staff were feeling very frustrated with ongoing IT problems. Our previous IT support actually went into administration and completely dropped off the face of the map, leaving us without emails or any access codes to our website, server or systems. Fresh stance were able to have our emails up and running again within 24 hours, had secured the rights to our domain name and was able to have us up and running fully with access to all of our IT systems within 7 days.

Since then they have upgraded our systems, replaced our server and the office is functioning better than it ever has been. Their response time is astonishingly quick, and they go above and beyond to sort out problems out outside of standard office hours and have even stepped in to solve problems over the weekend.

Hi Catherine,
I would like to thank you for introducing us to Steve Fox, Fresh Stance IT recently.

My husbands business is predominantly online and so when our PC stopped working we were keen to get it sorted ASAP.

After a brief conversation with Steve, my husband dropped our PC to his office. Steve was very honest with us and explained that, whilst the PC could be fixed, the cost of doing so would make it a pretty much nonviable option.

Thankfully Steve was able to back up everything from the old PC and put the data onto disc for us – including several of my husband’s paintings that we had not got round to backing up ourselves!

Steve was then kind enough to drop our PC and discs back to our house for us and gave us a good recommendation of where to start when looking for a new PC.

Re: lightning strike and fried electrics

As you know the recent series of problems we experienced after the house was hit by lightning left us without a working landline until we could replace the main handset, and most confusingly left our office computer constantly re-booting itself each time it was switched off. Things got even worse with the machine and it refused to start at all.

Without fuss you removed the offending device for some TLC. It proved to require a replacement and thanks to your clear and precise diagnosis I had no trouble getting a replacement through the insurance company.

You loaded a copy of the data from the old machine and I was able to re-load our office software and accounting package. All up and running with your added assistance by remote linkup.

You are now our go to computer resource and you can be sure I will be recommending you whenever I can.

Dear Steve,
Thank you so much for your assistance last week when after a Microsoft update my laptop was no longer able to connect to the internet.

I foolishly tried to fix the problem myself. I spent the best part of 7 hours communicating with Microsoft, which probably aged my by seven years. Needless to say they could not resolve the issue. Enter the Fox. Cool, clam and annoyingly brilliant with all matters computer, you fixed the issue within a few hours.

It is so reassuring to have an IT wizard who is amenable and happy to take on all kinds of jobs, even the smaller ones.
